With the deadline for NBA teams to sign rookie extensions ending at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, some teams have already signed deals before the buzzer. These deals, along with some injury news, will make up this quick roundup of NBA news as the offseason comes to a close.

The Denver Nuggets and forward Aaron Gordon have agreed to a four-year, $133 million contract extension, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The 29-year-old Gordon averaged 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds in 75 appearances last season. Charania provided further details about the deal:

The deal, which includes a player option for 2028-29 and a trade kicker, comes about with the forward opting into his $23 million salary for 2025-26 and then three additional years at his maximum salary, including bonuses , adds.

The Houston Rockets extended center Alperen Sengun for five years and $185 million. according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The talented big man has a player option for the final year of his contract.

Dallas Mavericks Guard Jaden Hardy will sign a three-year, $18 million contract extension with a player option for the final year, said Charania. Hardy, a former G League Ignite teammate of Scoot Henderson, was selected with the 37th pick in 2022.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a three-year, $150 million contract extension with exciting forward Jalen Johnsonsaid Chris Haynes. Johnson was drafted with the 20th pick in 2021.

The Rockets and fourth-year guard Jalen Green have agreed to a three-year, $106 million extension, Charania reported. The contract includes a player option for the third season. The 22-year-old Green averaged 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 82 appearances last season.

The Orlando Magic and fourth-year guard Jalen Suggs have agreed to a five-year, $150.5 million extension, Charania reported. The 22-year-old Suggs averaged 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 75 appearances last season. He also earned a spot on the 2023-24 NBA All-Defensive Second Team.

The Washington Wizards and fourth-year forward Corey Kispert have agreed to a four-year, $54 million extension, according to Charania. The 25-year-old Kispert averaged 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 80 appearances last season while shooting 38.3% on three-pointers.

The New Orleans Pelicans and fourth-year guard Trey Murphy III have agreed to a four-year, $112 million extension, Marc Stein of The Stein Line reported. According to Charania, the deal does not include any player options or incentives.

The 24-year-old Murphy averaged 14.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 38% on 3s in 57 appearances last season. The 6-foot-8 winger came primarily off the bench.

What's notable is that Murphy didn't sign a max extension. A deal like this could be a major milestone in the market next offseason, when it comes time for Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe to enter extension talks.

In other expansion news: The Golden State Warriors and fourth-year guard Moses Moody Charania reported that he agreed to a three-year, $39 million extension on Sunday. The 22-year-old Moody averaged 8.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 17.5 minutes per game in 66 appearances last season.

The Warriors did not reach a rookie extension with fourth-year forward Jonathan Kuminga.

Elsewhere, Milwaukee Bucks All-Star forward Khris Middleton Charania reported that he will likely miss the team's regular season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

Middleton faces the start of the NBA season as he recovers from offseason ankle surgery. The Bucks are cautiously developing Middleton toward a return.

In case you missed it: LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss the start of the NBA season indefinitely after suffering inflammation in his right knee. ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk and Charania reported the news on Thursday.

Last but not least, the Oklahoma City Thunder have signed former Rip City Remix forward Alex Reese to a non-guaranteed standard contract, Charania reported on Saturday. Reese, 25, played for the Remix last season and for the Blazers Summer League squad this July. The Thunder gave Reese a chance to make the roster with an Exhibit 10 contract at the end of September, and he made it happen.
