The music played by Egidio Cuadrado was recorded by accordion player Carlos Vives and sent to the school on October 21 at the Clínica Universitaria Colombia.

He arrived in Villanueva, La Guajira in February 1953. In 1985 it was declared the Festival of Leyenda Vallenata. In 1993, together with Vives, he released the album “Clásicos de la Provincia”, one of the most recorded albums by the eponymous singer.
