Monroe County Voter Turnout So Far in 2024 Exceeds 2020 Numbers – The B Square

An email from Monroe County Supervisor of Elections Kylie Farris on Friday evening provided the daily totals for the first week of early in-person voting in Monroe County for the Nov. 5, 2024 election.

Those daily totals added up to 4,249 ballots cast over four days starting Tuesday (Oct. 8).

Based on B Square reports from 2020, the total number of early in-person votes in the first four days of early in-person voting this year was 3,646. That makes this year's four-day total about 16 percent better than four years ago.

To reach the early in-person total of 22,953 in 2020, daily totals would need to average about 1,038 over the next three weeks (18 days) of early voting.

In addition to the 22,953 people who voted in person early in 2020, another 14,800 voted by mail-in ballot. In Monroe County, for example, about 60 percent of the 63,624 people who voted in the 2020 general election voted before Election Day.

Here is a breakdown of the remaining early in-person voting times in Monroe County
