Serie A club Milan celebrated their first Champions League win of the season by beating Club Brugge 3-1 at the San Siro in a game that turned nervy at times.

Brugge had to play with ten men in the first half, but still managed to equalize at 1-1 at the start of the second half after Christian Pulisic's Olimpico goal gave the Rossoneri the lead. Soon after, Milan took control and Tijjani Reijnders scored a brace to secure all three points for the club.

It was the Dutchman's first goal in Europe for Milan, although he had impressed for a while. He spoke with Sky Italy about the game and revealed that he dreamed of this moment.

He said, as relayed by TMW: “I dreamed, I was waiting for those first goals in the Champions League. I waited for one and two arrived: even better.”

He also explained that Milan weren't great in the first half, but improved significantly in the second half, helping them take all three points in a difficult game.

“In the first half we played too slowly, in the second we woke up after the equalizer.”

The game is a crucial win for Milan considering they next face Real Madrid and a win today would have put them in a difficult position.
