Medical license revoked in Blytheville – Jonesboro Right Now

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – October 17, 2024 – A Blytheville doctor has had his license revoked following allegations of sexual contact with his employees.

The Arkansas State Medical Board suspended Dr. David Diffine, a Blytheville family doctor, by emergency injunction for allegedly violating the Medical Practices Act and Board Regulations.

According to the order, the Arkansas State Medical Board received a complaint and surveillance camera footage from Diffine's clinic on July 17. The video shows Diffine having sexual contact with employees.

“The video shows, among other things, how Dr. Diffine performs sexual acts on an employee while other employees are present and watching. The video also shows how Dr. Diffine walks around the clinic naked,” the order states.

According to Diffine's website, his main office is in Blytheville. However, he also has offices in Bono and Paragould.

The board will hold a hearing on Dec. 6 to determine whether Diffine violated the Medical Practices Act.

In 2017, Diffine's license was temporarily suspended by the state medical board for over-prescribing medications to patients. However, the board dismissed the charges because it found no evidence to support the allegations.
