More than 40,000 people are expected to attend Vice President Kamala Harris' final speech at the Ellipse Temple on Tuesday evening. Lines are already forming along Constitution Avenue ahead of the speech, which is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. At least one person has to use the toilet, right?

When the sound of the Blue Wave becomes too much for your bladder to bear, Washingtonian This guide to nearby public toilets has you covered.

On the National Mall

While the mall's restroom situation is notoriously inadequate, there are portable restrooms across Constitution Avenue across from the Ellipse and eight functioning public restrooms in the mall—if you're able to walk some of the way—as well as a handful Restrooms inside the Smithsonian Museums, which do not require tickets, and the White House Visitor Center. Keep in mind that these establishments will be closed before Harris takes the stage.
