Luke Kromenhoek inspires FSU football with scoring goals

What was supposed to be a QB sneak on fourth-and-1 turned into a 42-yard run for Florida State football freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek.

It would eventually allow a Caziah Holmes touchdown for the Seminoles, cutting Miami's lead to 14-7 in the second quarter Saturday night in Miami Gardens.

Kromenhoek entered the game early in the second quarter after FSU trailed 14-0 at the end of the first. This is the true newcomer's second game appearance.

After the long run, Kromenhoek leads the Seminoles with 69 rushing yards on six carries. He attempted two passes.

His only completion was to Malik Benson at center, where he missed second down. Kromenhoek made his first game appearance against Duke last week.

Kromenhoek will start the second half for the Seminoles. FSU trails 17-7.
