US election 2024

Idaho voters will cast their ballots in the race for president and the state's two U.S. House seats. According to Cook Political Report ratings, Republicans have a chance of winning all three contests.

Voters will also decide on two key voting measures: one that would change the language of the state constitution on voter eligibility and another that would institute nonpartisan primaries and ranked-choice voting.

Regional housing price parity is calculated by the Bureau of Economic Analysis and indicates how much more (over 100) or less (less than 100) expensive housing rentals in a state compared to the national average in 2022, the most recent year available. The three largest occupations by state are based on the 2023 release of the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, the most recent data available.
