INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers welcome the Memphis Grizzlies and former Purdue superstar Zach Edey to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their first home game of the 2024-25 preseason. Edey had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks in the last win over the Chicago Bulls. Follow here to keep up with the Pacers (and Edey) tonight.

The revamped lineup doesn't look particularly good right from the start on both sides. On offense, the Pacers are 2 of 9 from the floor and 1 of 6 from 3, with Andrew Nembhard's 3-pointers accounting for more than half of the total. They are stodgy on defense and Memphis takes advantage. Grizzliers are 6 of 14 from the floor, but 3 of 6 from 3 getting some open ones on slow rotation.

The Pacers announced their starting five much earlier than usual due to several players missing. It follows.

PG – Andrew Nembhard

SG – Benedict Mathurin

SF – Jarace Walker

PF – Obi Toppin

C-Myles Turner

The Grizzlies starting lineup follows

PG – Scotty Pippen Jr.

SG – Desmond Bane

SF – Jake LaRavia

PF – Santi Aldama

C-Brandon Clarke

The Pacers announced before the game that Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith and TJ McConnell would sit out Monday night's game. Rookie winger Johnny Furphy will also miss his third straight game with an ankle injury.
