Georgia women's basketball begins its third season in the Katie Abrahamson-Henderson era on Monday, hosting North Carolina Central at Stegeman Coliseum at 5 p.m

The Lady Bulldogs' roster welcomes two returning starters, four off the bench and also features six new faces, including four ESPN 100 recruits and two transfers.

“Obviously it’s a completely different team this year,” Abrahamson-Henderson said.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the 2023-24 season with a 12-18 overall record and went 3-13 in conference play, finishing tied for the bottom of the SEC with Missouri. They missed their fifth-ever NCAA Tournament after losing 64-50 to Kentucky in the first round of the conference tournament because of poor shooting from the field and absolutely no shots from beyond the arc.

League coaches predicted the Lady Bulldogs would be ranked 13th (out of 16) in the SEC's preseason poll and 14th by a panel of experts on USA Today's Sports Network.
