Liv Morgan will go down in history as the first Women's Crown Jewel Champion after defeating Nia Jax in WWE Crown jewel Please.

Morgan and Jax gave fans a thrilling battle, punctuated in the final third by Dominik Mysterio, Tiffany Stratton and Raquel Rodriguez, largely in service of Morgan. Jax threw her full weight into the fight, toying with Morgan at times, while the Women's World Champion did her best to dodge and strike when opportunities presented themselves.

The end came when Mysterio distracted the referee so Rodriguez could throw Jax off the turnbuckle. Morgan followed with an Oblivion finisher for the pin.

Triple H came to the ring to congratulate Morgan and award her the diamond crown jewel title. Although Morgan was able to celebrate with the belt in front of the raucous crowd, she will go home with a personalized crown jewel ring while the belt remains in Saudi Arabia.

Due to Rhea Ripley's untimely injury, Morgan is currently without a dance partner. The feud between Morgan and Ripley, which also included Dominik Mysterio, was one of the best WWE stories of 2024. Morgan is undoubtedly as big a star as any performer on the current WWE roster, so it will be interesting to see how her character will develop from here. The Crown Jewel Championship further cements her as one of the best performers in the world.

Even though Jax lost the competition, her chances are still high – it took several interventions to topple her. Jax is a dominant champion whose share should continue to rise in 2025, especially since she has refined her character work.
