Kelly Rizzo bears a resemblance between Bob Saget and Breckin Meyer

Kelly Rizzo reflects on her late husband Bob Saget.

The 45-year-old opened up about the similarities between the comedian, who died in 2022 at the age of 65, and her new boyfriend Breckin Meyer, 50.

“They're so different, but what they have in common is that they're both absolutely hilarious, but in very different ways,” Rizzo told The Post exclusively during the Scleroderma Research Foundation's “Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine” event in LA on Tuesday.

Another thing the two have in common is that “they are both incredibly committed fathers.”

“Bob was such an incredible father to his girls and Breckin is so devoted to his girls,” Rizzo gushed. “And they’re just good, honest, wonderful, strong men.”

The travel blogger added: “I'm very grateful to have had Bob in my life and now I'm very grateful to have Breckin in my life.”

Saget and Rizzo met through mutual friends in 2015 and announced their engagement in 2017. The following year they married.

And the podcaster knows the “Full House” star would have approved of her relationship with the “Clueless” alum.

“They weren't close friends, but they were very friendly and liked and respected each other,” she explained. “That’s why I felt comfortable with it from the start.”

In February, Rizzo confirmed that she and Meyer were a couple and posed for photos with him at a Grammy viewing party. At the time, she told E! News that it took “a while” for her to “get to the point where she felt comfortable dating again.”

Three months later, in May, the couple went Instagram official.

Saget died on January 9 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. His autopsy determined his death was an accident caused by blunt head trauma.

“Life is very precious,” Rizzo told the Post about what she learned from the tragedy.

“We really have no idea when it will be taken away from us immediately,” the Comfort Club founder continued. “Tell your loved ones you love them. Hug her. Say it often. Say it as often as you can.”

Giving insight into her grief journey, Rizzo shared, “What I've learned over the last almost three years – which is crazy – is that everyone has their own story with grief.”

“I had never experienced this before. I've never experienced anything like this or a truly significant loss in my life, and now I'm learning that when you're going through something like this and you're “in the club,” people want to share something with you. People want to share their story and open up to you.”

In honor of Saget, Rizzo continues his work with the Scleroderma Research Foundation and shares what she hopes the fallen star wants the world to know about the autoimmune disease.

“It can really affect anyone, but it mostly affects women in the prime of their lives,” the actress explained, “and even though they've done so much work to find a cure and they've done so much work to find amazing treatments “There is still so much to be done to develop and therapies, and that is why they are working so tirelessly on research to find a cure.”
