Kamala Harris vs Donald Trump Prediction: New polls say Trump leads Harris in every swing state amid Iowa's shocking results in the US elections

New polls show Trump leading Harris in every swing state amid Iowa's shocking results in the US election
According to the Selzer poll, Kamala Harris is ahead in Iowa, another poll says Donald Trump is winning in all seven swing states.

A new poll from AtlasIntel found former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris in each of the seven swing states, although the gap is narrow. Trump is favored to win in North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The new survey comes amid Ann Selzer survey It has sent shockwaves that Kamala Harris is ahead in Iowa, a reliably conservative district that Donald Trump won in both 2016 and 2020.
The AtlasIntel survey said Trump has the largest lead in Arizona – at 52.3 percent to Harris's 45.8 percent.
In Nevada, Trump has a 51.2 to 46 percent lead over Harris.
In North Carolina, Trump is ahead 50.5 percent to 47.1 percent.
In Georgia, Trump has 50.1 percent ahead of Harris with 47.6 percent.
In Michigan it is 49.7 percent for Trump and 48.2 percent for Harris.
In Pennsylvania, the forecast is 49.6 percent for Trump and 47.8 percent for Harris.
Wisconsin is closest — 49.7 percent for Trump and 48.6 percent for Harris.
Aftermath of the shock poll in Iowa
A Des Moines Register Iowa poll showed Kamala Harris ahead by three points in Iowa, largely due to female voters. “No one can say they saw this coming,” Selzer told the newspaper. “She (Harris) has clearly made the leap to a leadership position.” Selzer and the Register surveyed 808 likely Iowa voters Oct. 28-31. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.4 percentage points. Harris' lead in the poll is the result of a massive gender gap. Among women, she is ahead by 20 points, 56% to 36%. Trump has a lead among men, but it is comparatively smaller, 52% to 38%. It's a pattern that's been repeated to varying degrees across the country, but most notably a six-week abortion ban went into effect in Iowa this summer.
According to the Daily Beast report, betting markets trended in favor of Kamala Harris following the shock poll. Kalshi's Saturday betting market gave Trump a 55 percent chance of winning on Saturday, but that dropped to 50 percent on Sunday morning.
On Polymark, Trump was at 63 percent on Saturday, but fell to 56 percent on Sunday morning. PredictIt gave Harris breathing room after the Iowa poll.
