Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris criticized Republican candidate Donald Trump at her rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, using her rival's own words.

Literally.

Harris took the rare step of showing footage of the former president on a big screen.

The Vice President introduced it by telling the audience, “After all these years, we know who Donald Trump is. He is someone who will stop at nothing to claim power for himself. And you don't have to take my word for it. I've been saying for some time, watch his rallies, listen to his words, he tells us who he is and he tells us what he would do if elected president. So here tonight I’m going to show you an example of Donald Trump’s worldview and intentions.”

“Please shoot the clip,” Harris said, eliciting gasps from the crowd.

A montage was then shown of Trump stoking fears about the “enemies within” and ranting that he might use the military to deal with “radical left-wing lunatics” if he wins back the White House.

The clip ended and the audience booed.

“So you heard his words coming from him,” Harris said.

Trump “talks about how he considers anyone who doesn't support him or bend to his will to be an enemy of our country,” she continued. “It is a serious problem. He says he would use the military to pursue them. Think about it.”

“That’s one of the reasons I believe so strongly that a second Trump term would be a huge risk for America and dangerous,” she added. “Donald Trump is becoming increasingly unstable and unhinged, and he seeks unchecked power.”
