John Calipari posts a blunt message before the Kansas basketball scrimmage

With the 2024-25 college basketball season just around the corner, the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks will face the Arkansas Razorbacks in a star-studded charity game.

The match, scheduled for Friday, October 25th, will take place at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is expected to draw a sellout crowd. The CT game at 8 p.m. will also be broadcast on the SEC Network.

Arkansas head coach John Calipari, who is in his first year leading the Razorbacks, turned to X (formerly Twitter) before the contest to set the tone for the game.

This quarter adjustment reflects the NBA and international basketball format, in which games are divided into four quarters lasting 10 minutes each, as opposed to two 20-minute halves typically seen in NCAA games.

This change is significant because it provides teams with a different pace and flow and gives coaches additional opportunities to make adjustments at the end of each quarter.

Playing on their home court, the Razorbacks will be eager to test themselves against a strong team like Kansas, which enters the season ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 preseason.
