Jimin cheated by BTS: Comedian Lee Jin Ho admits cheating him out of 100 million KRW

In a surprising and disturbing revelation, comedian Lee Jin Ho comes out know brothers admitted to struggling with a gambling addiction. This confession brought more shocking news, including his involvement in the fraud of several celebrities. Among the victims, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that BTS's Jimin was cheated on by Lee Jin Ho. The agency revealed that Jimin had lent him a large sum of money solely on the basis of a promissory note.

According to Korean media reports, Jimin Lee had given Jin Ho about 100 million KRW in 2022 and the debt was never repaid. BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement confirming the unfortunate situation and stating, “Jimin has indeed suffered financial harm. He trusted Lee Jin Ho and only lent him the money with a promissory note.”

Outraged netizens expressed their anger online with comments such as: “Scammers don't even spare celebrities…Jimin was cheated” and “He didn't pay back despite the written agreement. This is unacceptable.”

Lee Jin Ho shocked the K-content community when he posted a confession on social media and revealed that he is under police investigation for illegal online gambling. In his post, he admitted that his addiction began in 2020 when he encountered illegal gambling sites, which soon plunged him into debt far beyond his ability to repay.

He admitted that constant advice from friends and loved ones eventually opened his eyes to the severity of his addiction. He shared that he has received financial support from numerous people and is committed to repaying all of his debts. “I will pay everything back myself, even if it takes the rest of my life,” wrote Lee Jin Ho.


Describing the fear that consumed him, he revealed that every call from an unknown number filled him with anxiety as he feared revealing his gambling habits. He compared the fear to “being beaten every day.” In his lengthy social media post, Lee Jin Ho apologized to everyone he didn't reciprocate. While his agency, SM C&C, has yet to release an official statement, know brothers has begun investigating the matter to determine his future on the show.
