Jason Kelce appears to smash a man's phone at the Penn State game

Jason Kelce and a college football fan had a heated exchange over the weekend.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center was attending the Penn State-Ohio State game in Happy Valley on Nov. 2 when someone shouted a homophobic slur about his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as captured in viral videos, which were confirmed by NBC News.

In a video, Jason Kelce walks in a crowd outside Penn State's Beaver Stadium. As fans scream in the clip, a man can be heard asking about Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift and using a homophobic slur to describe him.

Jason Kelce appears to turn around upon hearing the insult and grabs a phone, which he appears to smash to the ground.

In another video of the incident, a man appears to chase Jason Kelce and demand that he give the phone back. Jason Kelce then appears to return the insult to the man.

It wasn't immediately clear whose phone Jason Kelce broke or whether it was the man who said the insult.

Jason Kelce, an analyst on “Monday Night Football,” is being represented by ESPN in connection with the phone destruction incident, and the network declined to comment.

Jason Kelce was in attendance at the game after appearing on ESPN's “College GameDay” on November 2nd. After daring to try Pat McAfee's kicking contest, Jason Kelce attempted two field goal kicks and missed both.

Travis Kelce and Swift have been together since at least September 2023, when she first announced their relationship by attending the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears. The tight end memorably expressed his interest in the singer on the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother.

While Jason Kelce was at the Penn State game on Saturday, Travis Kelce was in Indianapolis to see one of Swift's final Eras Tour shows in the US
