Inactive Fantasy Football Week 7: Who's in and who's out?

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won't be in the lineup, we'll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings quoted in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official inactive players on Sunday should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

4 p.m. ET games

Jonathan Brooks, RB, CAR: Knee — OUT OF
Impact: Chuba Hubbard gets another start. A Week 9 return for Brooks appears to be the current goal.

Tommy Tremble, TE, AUTO: Back — Inactive
Impact: The past issue comes in addition to the fact that he was still in the league's concussion protocol at the end of the week. Ja'Tavion Sanders should start.

Diontae Johnson, WR, CAR: ribs – Active
Impact: He had hamstring problems and now he's had a few more injuries. There are too many question marks to risk drawing him into the fantasy, even if he does fit into a suit.

David Moore, WR, CAR: Knee — Active
Impact: Even if Moore plays, Jonathan Mingo would be the better speculative signing this week.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, KC: Team decision – Inactive
Impact: Although he was eligible to play after being activated from the reserve/non-football illness list on Tuesday, it is Samaje Perine and Carson Steele who will back up Kareem Hunt

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, KC: Hamstring – Active
Impact: The veteran receiver will actually try it this week.

Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR: Ankle — Inactive
Impact: As expected, it will be at least a week before we see Kupp. There's no reason to risk bringing him back until he's 100% ready.

Jordan Whittington, WR, LAR: shoulder — Active
Impact: He saw double-digit targets in the Rams' final game when Kupp was out.

Zamir White, RB, LV: groin area – Active
Impact: A full Friday practice suggested a Sunday committee of White and Alexander Mattison.

Jakobi Meyers, WR, LV: Ankle — Inactive
Impact: One member of the trio of Tre Tucker, Tyreik McAllister and DJ Turner could stand out on Sunday. Which? That is the great unknown.

Matthew Wright, K, SF: shoulder — OUT/IR
Impact: The 49ers seemingly had more kickers than Spinal Tap had drummers this season.

Jake Moody, K, SF: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: Moody is still not ready to return, so Anders Carlson will try to avoid the “injury curse” this weekend.

Jauan Jennings, WR, SF: Hip — OUT OF
Impact: With no training this week, it is unlikely he will be able to play, plus…

Ricky Pearsall, WR, SF: Breast — Active
Impact: … Pearsall appears to have recovered enough from his highly publicized injuries to make his debut.

Brian Robinson Jr., RB, WAR: Knee — Active
Impact: Limited action all week leaves the door open for Austin Ekeler to potentially have a solid Sunday. However, Robinson will play.

Game on Sunday evening

Tyler Conklin, TE, NYJ: Hip — Questionable
Impact: He's expected to start, but all eyes will be on the Jets' newest member, WR Davante Adams.

Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, PIT: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: Jaylen Warren still has little competition for touches behind Najee Harris.

Roman Wilson, WR, PIT: Hamstring – Questionable
Impact: This Wilson is limited in practice toward the end of the week and will likely miss the expected return of QB Russell Wilson.

9:30 a.m. London game

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, NE: Foot — Active
Impact: All signs pointed to Stevenson answering the call early Sunday in London.

Javon Baker, WR, NE: illness — Inactive
Impact: He's been a healthy scratch for weeks, so this illness certainly hasn't helped. Tyquan Thornton is also sitting.

Travis Etienne Jr., RB, JAX: Hamstring – Inactive
Impact: Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson will take over as porters.

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Darrynton Evans, RB, BUF: Hamstring – Not activated via IR
Impact: It looks like Evans isn't ready for his 2024 debut, but…

Ray Davis, RB, BUF: Calf — Active
Impact: …James Cook (toe) is ready to roll and should see the majority of Buffalo's RB action.

Nick Chubb, RB, CLE: Knee — Activated via IR
Impact: Exactly how many snaps he plays is unknown, but he has been able to see a lot of action since then…

Jerome Ford, RB, CLE: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: … Ford will be out for at least week 7. Pierre Strong Jr. and D'Onta Foreman will do what Chubb can't.

Nyheim Hines, RB, CLE: Knee — Not activated from PUP list
Impact: Hines trained fully this week but will have to wait until at least next Sunday to return.

Dontayvion Wicks, WR, GB: shoulder — Active
Impact: Wicks has had limited practice all week, but both he and Christian Watson (ankle) appear ready.

Robert Woods, WR, HOU: Foot — OUT OF
Impact: Xavier Hutchinson could see some targets behind the duo of Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, IND: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: Trey Sermon (knee) has been removed from the injury report and will start.

Josh Downs, WR, IND: toe — Active
Impact: He saw limited action late in the week but will play on Sunday.

Alec Pierce, WR, IND: shoulder — Active
Impact: After having a full practice on Friday, it's no surprise that Pierce will be in the huddle on Sunday.

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, IND: Back — Active
Impact: Rounding out the “questionable WR trio” in Indy, Pittman's lack of practice on Friday left his availability on Sunday uncertain, but he will apparently try to play.

Skylar Thompson, QB, MIA: ribs – Inactive (emergency QB)
Impact: Tyler Huntley will start in Week 7, while Tua Tagovailoa may be on track to be back in Week 8.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, MIA: Hamstring – Active
Impact: No catches last week, no reason to trust him. Malik Washington is a slightly better bet.

Aaron Jones, RB, MIN: Hamstring – Active
Impact: Jones will be on the field Sunday despite the Vikings trading for Cam Akers earlier in the week. Myles Gaskin is out.

TJ Hockenson, TE, MIN: Knee — OUT OF
Impact: There is still time before the Vikings are forced to activate him from IR, so a little more patience seems in order.

Dallas Goedert, TE, PHI: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll will look to fill Goedert's big shoes.

Kenneth Walker III, RB, SEA: illness — Active
Impact: This developed on Saturday, but he appears to be well enough to try. Still, Zach Charbonnet could see a few additional details.

Will Levis, QB, TEN: shoulder — OUT OF
Impact: Levis will not play in the future and may even miss some games. Mason Rudolph will start in his place.

Tyjae Spears, RB, TEN: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: Tony Pollard gets the call as lead back while Julius Chestnut picks up the scraps.

Treylon Burks, WR, TEN: Knee — OUT/IR
Impact: Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd could both potentially get more targets.
