PALM BEACH, Fla. – Former President Donald Trump cast his ballot in Palm Beach on Election Day and said this latest presidential campaign was his best ever.

“I had a great campaign. I think it was perhaps the best of all three. We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second, but something happened. I would say this is the best campaign we've ever had.” “Run,” Trump said, standing next to his wife, former first lady Melania Trump.

Trump cast his vote at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach and spoke to reporters afterward. He said it “seems that conservatives are voting very strongly” and “it looks like Republicans have shown up with a lot of force.”

“It looks like we have a very significant lead. It looks like we have a lot more Republicans than Democrats today,” Trump said, adding, “I hear we’re doing very well everywhere.”

“No matter what happens tonight, is this your last campaign? “Are you ready after that?” a reporter asked Trump.

“I would think so. “I would think so,” Trump replied.

“How do you feel about that?” A reporter followed suit.

“Sad. Sad and very fulfilled. “I think we’re going to have a very big victory today,” Trump responded.

The former president indicated that he would not challenge the election results as long as they were fair.

“If it’s a fair election, I would be the first to recognize that,” Trump said, although it was unclear what fits that definition.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he had no plans to advise his supporters to refrain from violence if he lost.

“I don’t have to tell them,” Trump said. “Of course there will be no violence. My supporters are not violent people. I don’t have to tell them.”

After the vote, Trump visited a nearby campaign office to personally thank those who worked on his behalf.

Later Tuesday, Trump will host a watch party at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in downtown West Palm Beach.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris participated in an interview with the Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 in Atlanta on Tuesday.

“The first office I ever ran for was freshman representative at Howard University,” Harris recalled, adding, “Tonight return to Howard University, my beloved alma mater, and hopefully this day as that to recognize what he really is.” For me it’s come full circle.”

Harris will hold her wake party Tuesday night at Howard in the nation's capital, part of a network of historically black colleges and universities founded before 1964 for African-American students.

If she wins, Harris will be the first HBCU graduate to serve as president.

Harris, who will be the first female president if elected, has promised to work together to address economic concerns and other issues without radically diverging from President Joe Biden's course.

In the interview with The Big Tigger Morning Show on Tuesday, Harris was asked if she might have issues with black male voters supporting Trump or dropping out of the race. She said the “lived experience” taught her the difficulties black men can face in America.

“It hasn't really dawned on me that we still have a lot of work to do in recognizing the disparities in what black men receive and what they're entitled to in terms of access to opportunities,” the vice president said, adding this during her campaign She has highlighted issues “from access to capital to what we need to do about health care.”

Victory would cap a tumultuous campaign unparalleled in American history. Harris rose to the top of the Democratic ticket less than four months ago after Biden ended his re-election bid after facing massive pressure from his party following a disastrous performance in the debate.
