Horseshoe Huddle Roundtable: Colts vs. Dolphins

The Indianapolis Colts (3-3) return to Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday for the first time in three weeks where they host the Miami Dolphins (2-3). Both teams are looking for their second win in a row and will continue to work to overcome their early season gap.

Here's how Horseshoe Huddle sees the Colts' development in Week 7 at home against the Dolphins, with our roundtable of four analysts clearly in favor of the hosts.

Sean Ackerman (@shnackerman): Anthony Richardson's return game against the Dolphins should be good. While Jonathan Taylor is missing from the lineup, Richardson should be able to replace him as a threat in the rushing game. As long as the Colts defense is able to make tackles and destroy Miami's weapons, it should be a successful day.
Choose: Colts 31, Dolphins 17

Jake Arthur (@JakeArthurNFL): All three of the Colts' wins this season have been by one point, but I think this is their first blowout victory. Miami still has some great weapons on offense that will give them some life, but there aren't many areas where they perform particularly well. They rank last in the NFL with 12.0 points per game and are near the bottom of the league in red zone offense and defense. Offensively, they don't run or throw well and have trouble moving the sticks on third downs (and are even worse on fourth downs). Miami's defense is not productive when it comes to getting to the quarterback or causing turnovers. Richardson won't be flawless, but he will continue to generate great plays for the offense.
Choose: Colts 27, Dolphins 13

Andrew Moore (@AndrewMooreNFL): As Richardson returns to the Colts' offense, it's hard to predict what version of Richardson we'll see. But considering how the Colts have looked on their first drives lately, the young quarterback could be off to a good start. Even though Tua Tagovailoa isn't playing, Tyreek Hill and Jaylon Waddle still pose threats to the defense. Ultimately, Richardson will bring momentum back to the offense and the defense will hold its own for the Colts to get the win.
Choose: Colts 24, Dolphins 17

Drake Wally (@DWallsterDrake): Indy has a unique opportunity to get a home win against one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Richardson's return helps Indy's ground attack in my opinion. Colts 23-16 to move to 4-3.
Choose: Colts 23, Dolphins 16
