Almost two years have passed since the last new episode: “Yellowstone“will return for the second half of season five Sunday, November 10th at 8pm ET on Paramount Network and CBS.

About the show:

The wildly popular series is set in Montana, where the Dutton family controls the largest contiguous ranch in the country. The series previously starred Kevin Costner as John Dutton, a sixth-generation homesteader and devoted father. Costner made headlines earlier this year when he announced that he would not be returning to his role in Season 5B. It is uncertain how his absence will be explained in the new episodes.

The Dutton family is powerful but complicated. They operate in a corrupt world in which politicians are compromised by influential oil and timber companies that want to carry out multi-billion dollar land grabs. Since 2018, the plot has been characterized by changing alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds and hard-won respect. During this time, the Dutton property was in constant conflict with the expanding city, the Indian reservation, and America's first national park, all of which share common boundaries.

The first part of season five ended with a civil war between Jamie and Beth Dutton. John Dutton faced impeachment, and a disease spread through the local wildlife, endangering the family's livestock.
