Heidi Klum's best Halloween costumes so far

Heidi Klum Halloween costumes are undoubtedly the best Halloween costumes for celebrities. That is simply a fact. The supermodel is the queen of Halloween, offering elaborate, unforgettable costumes year after year. And every Heidi Klum Halloween outfit usually comes with a legendary Heidi Klum Halloween party (2020 and 2021 are exceptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

But whether it's a Halloween party or not, Heidi Klum's Halloween costumes have been stunning over the years. Remember when she was Lady Godiva in 2001? Or Jessica Rabbit in 2015? Or the scariest alien you've ever seen in 2019? I still have nightmares about it.

What did Heidi Klum do for Halloween this year?

Heidi Klum's 2024 Halloween costume is…ET! The supermodel and her husband Tom Kaulitz are both dressed as different versions of the little guy from Steven Spielberg's 1982 classic. ET the alien. (If you look closely, you can see Klum and Kaulitz's faces peeking out from behind the neck flesh.)

Accordingly fashionThe elaborate costumes took over a year and more than 30 visual effects artists to bring the vision to life. “We started by digitally printing their bodies and digitally modeling the different parts of ET – arms, legs, feet,” said visual effects artist Mike Marino. “Then we puzzled everything together to make sure they lined up and fit correctly. We 3D printed all sculptures, molded them, cast them in foam latex and reinforced them with spandex. We then glued the pieces onto their faces and fused them into the body.”

Klum and Kaulitz are not the only aliens landing on Earth just in time for Halloween 2024. Janelle Monáe made her own version of the little guy, which she shared on Instagram earlier this week.
