Harris appears with Charlamagne the God in Detroit; Trump cancels CNBC interview: Live

Kamala Harris agrees Trump's vision is about “fascism.”

Donald Trump clashed during a combative appearance at the Economic Club of Chicago Bloomberg Editor John Micklethwait on his tariff plans, refused to accept basic math, dodged a question about his interactions with Vladimir Putin since leaving office, offered his revisionist version of January 6th and talked about Detroit again.

This comes amid concerns about his health and mental capacity, as well as accusations from Democratic rival Kamala Harris that he is “increasingly unstable and unstable” after threats over the weekend to deploy the National Guard or even the military against American citizens.

The former president appeared in the state Monday night as his town hall event in suburban Philadelphia turned into a confused, impromptu dance party when two people in the audience suffered a medical emergency.

Trump bizarrely remained bobbing his head on stage for 39 minutes, listening to a selection of pop music and show tunes, after which Harris tweeted: “I hope he's okay.”

To reach black male voters, Harris is currently appearing in an audio town hall hosted by Charlamagne Tha God, who is particularly popular with that demographic. On Monday, the vice president announced a new set of proposals called the “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men.”

Harris talks participation and Trump's campaign is about 'fear'

Kamala Harris to Charlamagne tha God on the importance of voter turnout: “You can’t let someone take you out of the game by not voting. The solutions won’t just happen overnight…the things we want and want to fight for won’t happen if we don’t take action and participate.”

Harris says Trump is about fear: “His full-time campaign is about stoking fear, not hope. Look what he did and said that these legal immigrants in Springfield, Ohio ate their pets.”

Charlamagne asks why Harris allows him to call her Border Czar if that isn't her role.

Harris: “If I responded to every name he called me, I wouldn’t be focused on the things that actually help the American people. And that’s my focus.”

Harris asked for redress

A caller to Kamala Harris' audio town hall asked the vice president about her stance on reparations.

Harris replied: “It needs to be investigated. That is beyond question. I have made this position very clear.”

She then turned her attention to her plans for home ownership, small businesses, health care and home care, which she believes would particularly impact the Black community.

Harris agrees that Trump's vision is about “fascism.”

In her audio town hall with Charlamagne tha God, Vice President Kamala Harris agreed with the radio host when he called Donald Trump's vision for America “fascism.”

“You have two options… They are two very different visions for our nation. For me, it's about moving us forward and moving us forward and investing in the American people, investing in their ambitions and meeting their challenges. And the other Donald Trump is leading us back.”

Charlamagne added that the other was about fascism: “Why can’t we just say that?”

Harris: “Yes, we can say that.”

When asked about Trump's plans for the black community, Harris said: “Ask Donald Trump what his plan is for black America.” Ask him. I'll tell you what it is. Check out Project 2025. Project 2025 tells you that the plan calls for police departments to implement control measures.”

On the state of the race: “This is a race with margin of error. I’ll win, but it’s close.”

Harris criticizes Trump for sending Covid-19 testing equipment to Vladimir Putin at the height of the pandemic.

Charlamagne, the god, replies, “That doesn’t sound like America First.”

Trump's dissatisfied Harris spokesman keeps appearing on Fox News

Donald Trump doesn't seem pleased that Kamala Harris' spokesman Ian Sams is on Fox News “all the time” denouncing the former president and his campaign.

Here's what he posted on Truth Social:

Does Ian Sams, Lyin' Kamala's special advisor, own FoxNews? He's there all the time, just like so many of their other supporters. So ridiculous that Fox is allowing this to happen right before the election. We will WIN without Fox. MAGA2024!
