Haifa restaurant hit, Israelis injured by Hezbollah rockets – Israel News

Nine people were injured after Hezbollah's rocket attack in northern Israel on Monday evening, six of them in Haifa and the seventh in Tiberias.

Eight people were evacuated to the Rambam Health Care Campus for medical treatment after the rocket attack, Israeli media reported.

Of the people evacuated for medical treatment, a 13-year-old suffered minor injuries, another two people suffered moderate injuries from broken glass, three suffered minor injuries from broken glass, two sustained minor injuries while en route to a shelter, and one suffered from anxiety .

In addition, according to Israeli media, a 22-year-old person was seriously injured by shrapnel and was evacuated to the Tzafon Medical Center for medical treatment.

A restaurant in Haifa was reportedly hit directly when it was discovered that around 20 rockets came from Lebanese territory.

Some rockets were intercepted

Five missiles were initially identified and despite interception attempts, some missiles managed to hit sites in the Carmel and Gulf areas and the incident is currently under investigation.

Fifteen additional rockets were later identified in the Upper Galilee area, some of which were intercepted, but there were reports of successful hits.
