The 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15 marked the lingerie giant's comeback after a five-year hiatus. Famous Victoria's Secret Angels headlined the event: Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Barbara Palvin, Doutzen Kroes, Jasmine Tookes and Josephine Skriver.

American supermodel Gigi Hadid opened the show in pink lingerie. She completed her look with oversized pink feathers and matching high-heeled straps. On the runway, she paid tribute to pop star Taylor Swift by imitating her style and cheering the crowd loudly at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City. She made another appearance in a red lace bikini body.

Earlier in the day, Hadid hinted that she was taking a cue from her best friend Taylor. “Tonight on the runway there is something I learned from Taylor during her tour. At one of her rehearsals she said, 'I'm going to show you how we do this.' I did it then and now I'm using it tonight,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

Bella Hadid, a veteran of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, made a surprise appearance on the runway. Towards the end of the show, she took the stage in a red bra set and huge red wings.

The new edition of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show featured a much more diverse group of models in terms of shapes, sizes, gender identities and abilities, promoting a culture of inclusivity for the brand.

36-year-old model Ashley Graham made her debut in a VS fashion show. She walked the runway in an all-black outfit consisting of a lace bodysuit and matching robe, complete with black heels. Ashley posed for a moment on the runway while Blackpink singer Lisa sang “Moonlit Floor.”

Ashley told People magazine about her excitement about walking the runway for the lingerie brand: “I'm really excited. I'm not nervous and everything is very safe; nothing will jump out, that makes me feel good, so I can be proud of that and I'm honestly more looking forward to the full exposition that will take place during the show.”

Supermodels Kate Moss and her daughter Lila Moss also celebrated their Victoria's Secret debut on the catwalk. Lila wore a pink outfit with tassels and sparkly underwear. Her mother Kate, 50, hit the runway with “I Love Rock 'N Roll” playing on the speakers. When she appeared in her black outfit, she received the loudest cheers from the crowd.

Adriana Lima, 43, made an epic return to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She first walked for Victoria's Secret in 1999 when she was just 18 years old. Supermodel Candice Swanepoel also returned to the show and popular model Tyra Banks closed the show after an exciting performance by Cher.

Ahead of the show, the lingerie brand promised an “inclusive” event on its website, saying: “Victoria's Secret is focused on celebrating and supporting all women, and that won't be changing anytime soon.”

The annual televised fashion show was canceled in 2019 due to declining ratings and criticism of the body image standards set for women by the VS Angels and models.
