OOOOOOHHHHHH BABY DETROIT RED WINGS HOCKEY IS BACK.

The Wings host the Penguins in their season opener tonight at Little Caesars Arena. While it is Detroit's first game of the season, Pittsburgh suffered a tough loss to the New York Rangers last night. This game ended 6-0, so nothing went right for the Pens. Tristan Jarry was absolutely thrilled, so I guess we'll see their other goalkeeper between the goals tonight.

The wings are healthy and ready to play. Unlike the Penguins, they will not start the season in back-to-back games. Nashville pays a visit on Saturday evening.
