    Memphis football faces a crucial conference game.

    The Tigers (5-1, 1-1 AAC) host North Texas (5-1, 2-0) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium on Saturday. Memphis likely needs to win to reach the AAC title game, and that includes a win over the Mean Green on Saturday.

    North Texas has one of the best statistical offenses in the country, but Memphis' defense has been dominant for most of this season. This matchup will likely decide this game and determine which team leaves the stadium with a legitimate chance to reach the AAC title game.

    Memphis scored another touchdown, but Sheffield needed just one play to answer again. He followed his 75-yard rushing touchdown with a 75-yard receiving touchdown on North Texas' next play, and the score is 14-14.

    Memphis drove down the field with ease, and Seth Henigan rushed for a touchdown to give Memphis the lead. However, North Texas answered immediately when DT Sheffield took a handoff 75 yards from the end zone on North Texas' first play of the game.
