    Jackson State football hosts its first conference game of the season today.

    No. 25 JSU (4-2, 2-0 SWAC) hosts No. 18 Florida A&M (3-2, 1-0) at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday (2:30 p.m. CT, ESPNU). Saturday marks JSU's first home game in over a month and the Tigers' first against a ranked opponent this season against FAMU.

    On Monday, JSU was ranked for the first time since 2022 as the Tigers entered the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll at No. 25.
