FINAL RESULTS: Hawaii 21, Fresno State 20

The University of Hawaii football team will look to put together another good road performance after an impressive home win over Nevada at Valley Children's Stadium against Fresno State in Fresno, California.

The rivalry between the two schools could soon be over. Fresno State announced it would secede from the Mountain West in 2026 to join the Pac-12 remnants. Fresno State and UH both competed in the Western Athletic Conference before joining the Mountain West. The Bulldogs lead the series 30-24-1, but the Warriors have won two of the last four meetings in Fresno.

Today's game will have a variety of meanings. The 5-3 Bulldogs are 3-1 in the Mountain West and are in contention for a spot in the league championship game. Despite Jeff Tedford's health-related retirement in July, they have managed to stay on track. Tim Skipper is the interim head coach.

The Warriors ended a three-game losing streak last week with a 34-13 victory over Nevada and improved to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the Mountain West. In this game, the Warriors solved recent third-down and red-zone issues by adding more run concepts to their four-wide offense.
