For Bayern, ÖFB legionnaire Konrad Laimer was substituted on by coach Vincent Kompany in the 68th minute. As before, the 27-year-old from Salzburg held the position of right-back. In the fifth minute, Aleksandar Pavlovic injured his shoulder and the defensive midfielder – Laimer's favorite position – was replaced by Joao Palhinha.

Philipp Lienhart, in turn, has entered the shooting list for Freiburg for the first time this Bundesliga season. The ÖFB legionnaire scored 2-0 in Freiburg's 3-1 (3-0) win against Augsburg. Lienhart scored his twelfth goal in the German upper house. This October he has already scored three goals. There was also reason for an Austrian to be happy off the field. In the first game under sports director Andreas Schicker, TSG Hoffenheim emerged from its crisis at home against bottom team VfL Bochum and celebrated their first win after five games with just one point, 3-1 (1-0). Leipzig remains unbeaten

Leipzig remained unbeaten thanks to goals from Xavi Simons (20th) and Willi Orban (37th). Christoph Baumgartner came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute. Champion Bayer Leverkusen got back on track and ended Eintracht Frankfurt's high flight with a 2-1 (1-1) home win. Robert Andrich (25') and Victor Boniface (72') scored for the hosts, who were briefly behind thanks to Omar Marmoush (16'/foul penalty).
