Fantasy Last Minute Pickup – Week 7: Tyler Goodson

Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Andy Behrens explains why the Colts running back is worth a last-minute move this week.

Video transcript

But I'll give you another Tyler and I'll go with Tyler Goodson.

Uh, he seems to be off to a pretty strong start this week with Jonathan Taylor out for the Colts and Trey Sherman also dealing with a knee issue this week.

Last week, Goodson outscored Herman on far fewer touches.

He finished with 65 yards and four catches this week against a pretty respectable Titans defense.

Much better matchup against Miami.

This is a team that allows 4.7 yards per 100 carry and 25 rushing yards per game.

In fact, Goodson averages 6.3 yards per carry on on a very low volume of just 26 NFL rush attempts in his career, but he has performed well as a receiver on, even on limited opportunities.

It's just hard not to love his setup this week.

It's very hard to imagine the scenario where the Colts' run gets completely out of hand against this version of the Miami defense.

Uh, Goodson, former Iowa product, I'll just pass that by.

In this case there is a very good bet for a total of 8090 yards and a touchdown.

Uh, the sermon could still go first, but starting status definitely doesn't mean everything in the NFL Goodson is the guy who really passed the eye test.
