Ella Purnell joined Hailee Steinfeld for the second season premiere of Netflix's “Arcane” at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on Thursday.

At this point I realize that I don't have a really clear sense of the personality or aesthetic of Ella's style yet, especially for this reason Dior Resort 2025 I wouldn't have imagined a red leather jacket and a red skirt on her. I actually had Jenna Ortega in mind for this outfit and imagined how it might work for her Beetlejuice Beetlejuice press tour.

The suit itself is fascinating, but I don't like the styling. For one thing, the braids are somewhat at odds with the bold structure of the leather jacket, which, despite the simple lace collar and cuffs, has an inherent edge that is penetrated by the shoulders.

The J'Adior Slingback pumps were another choice that seemed more traditional than edgy, providing further contrast.

Undoubtedly, this is an outfit that attracts attention, but perhaps with a different styling approach it could have been more cohesive and highlighted the inherent hotness of the look.

All in all, Ella's styling didn't work for me, but I like that she's never afraid to experiment and explores new, bolder territory with every outing.
