Early voting has ended in Ohio; Here's what you need to know for Tuesday

It's almost Election Day and early voting is officially over in Ohio.

Voters who were able to line up by 5 p.m. were eligible to vote. On Monday the election workers will prepare everything for Tuesday.

Polls officially open statewide at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. You must be in line by 7:30 p.m. that day to be able to vote in the final moments of the election. To find your polling place, you can use this tool on the Secretary of State's website.

In Ohio, you must bring ID to vote. Accepted forms of identification include:

  • Ohio driver's license
  • Ohio State ID Card
  • Temporary ID form issued by the Ohio BMV
  • A US passport
  • A US passport card
  • US military ID card
  • Ohio National Guard ID card
  • US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card

All photo IDs must contain the following:

  • An expiration date that has not expired.
  • A photo of the voter.
  • The voter's name, which must substantially match the voter's name as it appears on the electoral roll or poll book.

The Foreign Minister also published a reminder of this not carry to the ballot box in order to be allowed to vote:

  • No political parties (donkeys, elephants, MAGA hats, etc.).
  • No names/likenesses of the candidates.
  • No external indications of support/opposition to election topics/levies.

8:00 p.m.: FOX Democracy 2024: Election Night (national coverage)
