Early voting for the 2024 election in Lee County, FL, locations to drop off ballots

Voters in Lee County cast their ballots in a variety of races ranging from President of the United States to Florida legislative seats to city council offices in Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach and Fort Myers.

Here's what you need to know about voting, whether by mail, by hand-delivering your ballot to a mailbox, in person during early voting, or in person on Election Day.

Absentee Voting Status in Lee County, Florida

  • Mail-in ballots for the Nov. 5 general election in Lee County were mailed beginning Oct. 1
  • You can still vote by postal vote. You have until Thursday, October 24, 5 p.m. to submit a request.
  • The last day to return a mail-in ballot is Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00 p.m. Election Day
  • If you plan to return your ballot by mail, do so by Tuesday, Oct. 29, advises the Lee County Supervisor of Elections' office.

Where to drop off mail-in ballots in Lee County, Florida?

Voters can drop off their ballots in person from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, at any elections official's office. You are at:

Ballots may also be dropped off in person at a secure ballot drop-off location at any early voting location during the early voting period.

Lee County election 2024: When and where will early voting take place?

When: Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, October 21st to Saturday, November 2nd
