Hours before Hurricane Milton made landfall, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno shared the following road hazards in Lee County:

  • Inlet Drive, impassable, knee-deep water
  • Stipe Street east of Moody Road, passable, 4 inches of water
  • Seaworthy road on Moody Road, passable, 4 inches of water
  • Betmar Boulevard at Jayde Court, passable, 4 inches of water
  • North Tamiami on the East North Shore, impassable, 6 inches of water
  • May Street, Matlacha, debris on the street
  • Eighth Avenue on Pine Island, street flooded
  • Pineland Marina, 6 inches of water on the street
  • Blind pass, water and sand penetrate
  • Between waters and South Seas, 12 inches of water on the road
  • Cajeput/Bay Road, 6 inch pavement
  • 25762 Hickory Blvd. (formerly Bonita Beach RV Resort), 2 feet of water encroaching from Back Bay toward Hickory Boulevard
  • 27430 Hickory Blvd. to 27600 Hickory Blvd., Gulf water 6 inches
  • 27692 Hickory Blvd. to 27730 Hickory Blvd., 4 inches
