Donald Trump said he was okay with the heat during a town hall event in Pennsylvania after it reportedly caused some attendees to faint.

Trump's Monday evening event took place in Oaks, Pennsylvania and was hosted by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. The event was halted twice because of apparent medical incidents in the crowd, prompting Trump to call for a doctor while commenting on the heat.

“We have incredible people who come here hours before and it's a little hot, so they're by our side the whole time, respect them and take your time, doctor,” he said.

“We always have great doctors in the audience, we never have too many problems,” he added. “Look at the quality of care we provide, it’s incredible.”

After having to interrupt his speech for the second time, Trump returned to the stage and said: “I personally enjoy this, you know. We're picking up. We can do it, lose four or five pounds, that’s fine with me.”

Noem then responded, “Kamala Harris doesn’t do that.”

Trump continued to laugh at Noem's joke that the building didn't have air conditioning because it was too expensive in the current economy. Trump then asked the crowd, “Does anyone else want to faint?” Please raise your hand.”

The Republican GOP nominee told the crowd, “I wish we could open the doors,” and after further discussion with guards at the side of the stage, he added, “For security reasons, I can't, but you know what I should do.” .” Just open them, because if someone comes through these doors, you know what will happen to them.

Trump told the crowd that both supporters were fine, saying, “They're both in good shape.”

Instead of answering further questions, Trump said, “Let's make this a music festival!” asked to play his favorite songs – the first being Luciano Pavarotti's Ave Maria.

The music played for 39 minutes, during which time Trump danced intermittently on stage and members of the crowd left the event early. The Washington Post reported.
