Does Graeter make Skyline chili ice cream?

CINCINNATI – Are two Cincinnati classics working together? If Kroger's website means anything, then maybe!

A search of Kroger's website shows a potential “Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream Pint” selling for $7.

“A bold fusion of flavors in a chili-flavored Cincy ice cream: The creamy ice cream is infused with warm chili spices. Crispy oyster crackers and shredded cheese are scattered throughout, providing a tangy contrast to the sweet treat. This unconventional marriage offers a bold, adventurous flavor experience that combines savory ice cream with crunchy elements in every bite,” the website says.

Daring and unconventional are definitely the words we would use. But can we actually try this “bold, adventurous taste experience”?

While the listing is there, Kroger's website shows the ice cream is unavailable. Neither Graeter's nor Skyline have any details about the possible collaboration on their websites or in stores.

This wouldn't be the first time Graeter's has collaborated with another hometown brand. They worked with Braxton Brewing Co. on a Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout and Key Lime Pie Ale. But those flavors aren't as shocking as this one — and it seems like a lot of people aren't on board.

“President Trump and I are going to stop this,” Tri-State native and vice presidential candidate JD Vance responded to the news on X (formerly Twitter).

WCPO is reaching out to Graeter's and Skyline for any information they can regarding this potential partnership.
