Dodgers details for fans attending NLCS Games 6 and 7 at Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES – For fans coming to Dodger Stadium for Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, here are details on how to get to the ballpark and pre-game festivities for the final game(s) of Dodgers vs. Mets.

Game 6 is scheduled for first pitch at 5:08 p.m. PT. Gates to the parking lot at Dodger Stadium will open at 2:08 p.m., and gates to the interior of the stadium will open at 2:38 p.m

Bill Russell will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Sunday before Game 6. The longtime shortstop and member of The Infield was a Dodger for 18 seasons and delivered the walk-off single in Game 4 of the 1978 NLCS, one of five National League pennants the Dodgers won at Dodger Stadium.

Angie Fisher will sing the national anthem before Game 6.

If the Dodgers lose on Sunday, Game 7 will have the same start time and stadium gate times, with Julian Torres singing the national anthem.

In Game 7, Orel Hershiser will throw out the ceremonial first pitch – again, if necessary – 36 years after his Game 7 shutout in the 1988 NLCS beat the Mets, which was the last time the Dodgers won the pennant in Chavez Ravine won.

Other ceremonial first pitches for the Dodgers this season included Eric Karros and Reggie Smith before the first two games of the NL Division Series, then Nomar Garciaparra before Game 5 against the Padres.

Manny Ramirez and Shawn Green threw the first pitches before Games 1 and 2, respectively, against the Mets.
