Detroit Lions vs. Tennessee Titans, Sunday, October 27

Talk about a complete team effort.

Six different players scored touchdowns for the Lions on Sunday as all three phases played a crucial role in a convincing 52-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans, marking the fifth straight win for Detroit (6-1).

Three big special teams returns (two punts, one kickoff), four defensive takeaways and big offensive plays led to Detroit's most impressive win of the season.

The 52 points scored are the second most in franchise history. In the last four games, the Lions have scored 172 points and 22 touchdowns. This is the most points and touchdowns the Lions have ever scored in a four-game span in a single season.

Detroit's defense set up the first points of the game when a great rush from Levi Onwuzurike led to an ill-advised pass from Tennessee quarterback Mason Rudolph right into the hands of linebacker Trevor Nowaske at the Titans' 31-yard line. Nowaske returned the ball to the 23-yard line. From there, it only took two plays for running back David Montgomery to punch in the ball from seven yards out, giving the Lions a 7-0 lead.

Tennessee came right back, marching 75 yards in just four plays, capped by an 11-yard touchdown run by Rudolph, the first rushing touchdown of his career.

On the first play after the Titans' touchdown, running back Jahmyr Gibbs went through a huge hole opened by Taylor Decker, Graham Glasgow and Frank Ragnow on the left side of the offensive line and hit everyone down the left sideline for a 70-yard touchdown -Run. Gibbs is the first Lions player since Dutch Clark in 1934 to rush for a touchdown of more than 45 yards in consecutive games.
