Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will campaign in Lansing this week

Correction: Vice President Kamala Harris plans a campaign visit to Lansing this week. An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that her vice president, Tim Walz, would be visiting.

LANSING – Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will campaign in Lansing on Friday, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.

The Harris-Walz campaign confirmed the campaign visit on Sunday.

Michigan is a swing state in the 2024 presidential election and both Republican and Democratic candidates were visiting.

Trump visited Detroit on Thursday. According to a social media post from the show, Harris is expected to travel to Michigan on Tuesday for an event in Detroit with radio host Charlamagne tha God of the morning show The Breakfast Club.

On September 13, Walz, now governor of Minnesota, spoke to Democratic supporters at The Graduate Hotel in downtown East Lansing. His wife Gwen also appeared in Lansing on September 24th.

On August 29, Trump spoke to supporters at Alro Steel in Potterville.
