After a postgame moment, Avery called Bosa out on X, criticizing him for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat during a postgame interview and not clarifying his stance.

This ban includes helmet stickers, armbands and jersey patches. Only approved items that are modest in size, tasteful, non-commercial, non-controversial, and limited to one football season may be used. Additionally, items approved for one team may not be worn by players from other teams in the league.
Despite the controversy, Bosa's performance on the field remains outstanding. He won Defensive Player of the Year last season with a league-leading 18.5 sacks and has already added 4.5 sacks to his total this season, including one in Sunday's game.
