Charlamagne the God says a young black man predicted that Trump's podcast appearance would get him elected

Charlamagne Tha God revealed Friday that an anonymous source told him that former President Trump's appearance on a recent podcast would get him elected.

A key part of Trump's media strategy this election was giving interviews on podcasts to appeal to young male voters. One appearance that made plenty of headlines was Trump's interview last week on the “Flagrant” podcast, hosted by comedian Andrew Schulz.

Charlamagne, co-host of the radio show “Breakfast Club,” subsequently spoke candidly with Schulz on their joint podcast “Brilliant Idiots” and said he heard an answer so significant that he had to keep the person's name secret.

“A young black man, about 20 years old, I won't say his name. I should say his name… He comes to me this morning, he turns to me and says, 'Flagrant is going to get Trump elected.' “'” Charlamagne said.

Schulz burst out laughing: “That interview was amazing, brother, I don’t know what to tell you.”

Charlamagne and Schulz further discussed how Trump's spontaneous humor stands in stark contrast to Vice President Kamala Harris, who Schulz said is afraid of losing the advantage she thinks she has.

“There's nothing in the poll numbers we're seeing right now that should make anyone feel like she has that,” Charlamagne said, and when a comparison was made to Hillary in 2016, he responded, “I always tell people again, that this campaign feels more Hillary-like than Obama-like than Obama '08-like.

During the interview on “Flagrant,” Trump riled up the hosts several times with his irreverent humor, such as when he joked that Biden had an advantage over him.

“He has an ability that I don’t have – he sleeps,” Trump said. “He can sleep! This guy goes to the beach and lays down on one of those 6-ounce chairs. They weigh 6 ounces and he can't lift it. They are intended for children, young people. and old people for lifting. They're made of aluminum, you know, hollow aluminum, they weigh very little and he can't lift them.

He later continued to joke: “Someone convinced him he looked good in a swimsuit, and when you're 82, swimsuits usually don't look great.”

On “The Breakfast Club,” Charlamagne recently criticized the Harris-Walz campaign's messaging tactics, arguing that its commentary on world politics “seems very distant from what's going on here in America.”

This is a clear difference from Trump and his running mate JD Vance, who “talk about what's happening here at home and say things like 'America First' and 'Make America Great Again,' whose messages sometimes resonate a lot.” more.”

Then he corrected himself and said, “Not sometimes, it resonates a lot more.”
