Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Commanders could turn into a shootout

The Washington Commanders have one of the most productive offenses in the NFL and Jayden Daniels will lead his team tomorrow against the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers struggled offensively with last year's No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young at center. However, the unit looked much better when Andy Dalton was quarterbacking the team.

For this reason, CBS Sports writer Pete Prisco expects a shootout with the Commanders emerging victorious 35-27.

“This is a game with two defenses that are struggling with two offenses that can score. So watch out for some sort of shootout between Jayden Daniels and Andy Dalton. In the end, I bet Daniels makes the most of it as Washington.” “He's bouncing back from last week's loss to the Ravens,” Prisco writes.

The Panthers have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. If the Commanders can take advantage of this, they should be able to get back to winning ways and get a home win in front of their fans.

Kickoff between the Panthers and Commanders is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on CBS or Paramount+.
