Cardi B says she was hospitalized and will miss her performance at the Atlanta Music Festival

Rapper Cardi B said she is recovering from a medical emergency and will have to miss her performance at a music festival in Atlanta this weekend.

“I'm so sad to share this news, but I have been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past few days and I will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” Cardi B wrote on Wednesday afternoon on Instagram.

“It breaks my heart that I won't be able to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” Cardi B added. “Bardi Gang – thank you for your understanding and I will be back better and stronger soon.”

Cardi B, 32, did not share details about the medical emergency or her current condition.

She ended the Instagram message by saying, “Don’t worry. I love you all.”

According to the festival's website, the rapper was scheduled to perform at ONE MusicFest, a two-day music festival taking place this weekend in Central Park in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

Cardi B was scheduled to perform on Saturday alongside artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, Fantasia and Ari Lennox. Gunna, Jill Scott, Victoria Monét and Glorilla are among the many performers on Sunday.

Cardi B announced the birth of her third child, a baby girl, with rapper Offset last month. They're getting divorced.
