Candice Swanepoel made a stunning return to the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday night after a six-year hiatus.

The 35-year-old South African beauty quickly became part of Victoria's Secret's elite modeling group after being crowned an “Angel” in 2010.

Swanepoel has been the brand's most popular babyface blonde for over a decade – a look that supermodel Gigi Hadid has emulated in recent years.

But as she walked the runway in New York City on Tuesday night, she appeared to be working with a fiercer, clearer expression.

Her brows and eyes appeared significantly raised, reflecting the popular “fox eyes” trend.

Candice Swanepoel looked fiercer than ever as she returned to the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday night. The typically baby-faced model had sculpted cheekbones and a sexy “fox eye.”

Although a “fox eye” can be achieved through an upper facelift, brow lift, or facial contouring, strategic makeup placement can also help create the illusion of a more lifted face.

Swanepoel's doe eyes have appeared more closed in recent years, whereas on Tuesday evening she had plenty of room for her lids.

Her cheekbones also looked significantly sculpted compared to her famously fuller cheeks.

Her nose was contoured with bronze powder to appear slimmer and sharper.

It has long been speculated that Swanepoel had a nose job early in her modeling career, but this has never been proven.

The catwalk expert's complexion looked flawless and completely free of lines and wrinkles.

She sported a deep tan that showed off her impressively toned muscles.

Swanepoel has never admitted to going under the knife or using cosmetic injections such as Botox or Juvederm to maintain or improve her appearance.

However, she previously admitted to UBeauty that she had tried several “in-office cosmetic procedures.”

“I tried a few things. In my opinion, there is no miracle procedure, but I find that laser procedures are preventative and keep the skin from aging,” she told the outlet in 2022.

“I have oily skin, so I occasionally have to do facial extractions. I’m a big believer in exfoliating and trying my best to stay out of the sun.”

Swanepoel is very conscientious when it comes to using and reapplying a “powerful” sunscreen that can prevent early signs of aging.

She also said she uses retinol, which can prevent wrinkles, sagging skin and discoloration.

She said she once had a “terrible breakout” from microneedling – a minimally invasive procedure that involves making tiny punctures in the skin to stimulate collagen production.

That one bad experience left her “not very adventurous” when it comes to trying skin treatments.

Despite having one of the best bodies in the industry, Swanepoel – mother of two – claims she doesn't stick to a strict diet and has to “eat a lot” to maintain her weight.

As for her exercise routine, she said, “Thirty minutes a day, four times a week is enough for me.”

Gigi Hadid opened the show at the Victoria's Secret flagship store in New York City wearing pink angel wings after a six-year hiatus.

Tyra Banks closed the show, while Gigi's younger sister Bella Hadid – hailed by fans as the “queen” of the Victoria's Secret runway – made a surprise appearance in head-to-toe red lingerie.

Cher headlined the evening alongside Blackpink alum Lisa and rising star Tyla – marking the show's first-ever all-female musical lineup.

The show's highly anticipated revival comes three years after the lingerie brand's controversial “Woke” body-positive rebrand in 2021.

Victoria's Secret's iconic angels were replaced by “ambassadors” like soccer star Megan Rapinoe and the company fired its longtime CEO after falling sales and an explosive revelation that accused the company of misogyny, sexual harassment and bullying.

Swanepoel first appeared in a sparkly bra and thong underwear that left little to the imagination.

Throughout the star-studded event in NYC, Swanepoel sported a sexy high ponytail and dramatic makeup with gold eyeshadow and a glossy lip.
