UAlbany 24, Bryant 17

Quarterback Myles Burkett passed for 183 yards and two touchdowns and had a team-best 57 yards on the ground as UAlbany (3-3, 1-1 CAA) held off Bryant (2-4, 0-2 CAA) 24-17 .

Burkett hit Seven McGee with a 3-yard TD pass on the first drive of the second half to give the Great Danes a 10-7 lead, and the duo hit another 5-yard scoring play to make it 17-10 with 10:34 to play. UAlbany fended off a 1-yard TD run by Jojo Uga with 1:07 left after the Great Danes stopped Bryant on a 4Th-Down play from your own 6-yard line. Bryant quarterback Jarrett Guest was 23 of 32 passing for 233 yards, including a 36-yard scoring throw to Landon Ruggieri on the game's first drive and a 21-yard TD throw to Drew Montez with 16 seconds left. Cole Nilles made 13 tackles for the Bulldogs.

Delaware 44, Maine 21

Zach Marker threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns as Delaware (6-0, 3-0 CAA) used a strong second half to pull away from Maine (3-3, 1-2 CAA) 44-21. The Blue Hens' defense forced four turnovers, including a 34-yard pick six by Ty Davis.

Maine took a 14-13 halftime lead after a 19-yard TD pass from Carter Peevy to Montigo Moss late in the second quarter and a goal-line stop at the end of the half. A 40-yard TD from Jo'Nathan Silver gave the Blue Hens a 23-14 lead, but the Black Bears answered with a 1-yard TD from Tavion Banks to pull within two with 12 minutes to play . Delaware was able to tie the game when Marker capped a 75-yard drive with a 4-yard TD toss to Jake Thaw, followed by Davis' pick six on the ensuing possession. UD's Phil Lutz had five catches for 133 yards and a TD reception for a school-record sixth straight game. Xavier Holmes contributed 13 tackles, 2.0 TFLs and a sack for Maine's defense, while KT Seay and Mysonne Pollard contributed interceptions for Delaware.

New Hampshire 17, Elon 10

New Hampshire's defense recorded nine sacks and allowed just 231 total yards as the Wildcats (4-2, 2-0 CAA) earned a 17-10 road win at Elon (1-5, 0-2 CAA). Josiah Silver led the UNH defense with seven tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks.

Elon took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a 41-yard field goal by Jack Berkowitz and a 39-yard TD run by TJ Thomas. The momentum changed just before halftime when UNH's Zeroun Skinner blocked a punt that was recovered at the EU 10-yard line. Logan Tomlinson caught a 10-yard TD pass from Seth Morgan on the next play, bringing the Wildcats within 10-7 at halftime. Tomlinson gave UNH a 14-10 lead with a 4-yard scoring run midway through the third period and Nick Mazzie made a 38-yard field goal with 14:06 left. A 39-yard fumble return by Jake Louro gave Elon the ball at UNH's 17-yard line with 9:24 left, but UNH's defense forced a turnover on downs and then held off the Phoenix the rest of the way away. Morgan finished the game with 119 yards passing. For Elon, Thomas ran for 78 yards on nine carries. Senquavious Alsobrooks had 10 tackles and 2.0 TFLs for the Phoenix defense, which held UNH to 151 yards.

Rhode Island 31, Brown 21

Rhode Island (5-1, 2-0 CAA) scored 17 unanswered points in the final 17 minutes as the Rams defeated Brown 31-21 to capture their sixth straight Governors Cup. URI quarterback Devin Farrell passed for 244 yards and a TD and rushed for 65 yards, including a 5-yard TD run that sealed the victory with 2:49 left.

Midway through the third quarter, URI trailed 21-14, but scored on a 20-yard field goal by Ty Groff, followed by a 45-yard TD run by Shawn Harris, Jr., giving the Rams a 12-yard lead. took the lead with 22 minutes remaining. Gabe Salomons blocked a game-winning Brown field goal attempt and URI was able to drive 80 yards, overcome by Farrell's scoring run, to secure the victory. Marquis Buchanan made nine receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown. Sean Filaoye led the Rams defense with 10 tackles.




Towson 28, Norfolk State 23

Towson (3-3, 1-1 CAA) scored two touchdowns in less than five minutes in the fourth quarter to rally past Norfolk State 28-23.

Tigers quarterback Sean Brown was trailing 16-14 when he scored on Jaceon Doss to give Towson the lead. He then found tight end Carter Runyon in the end zone and made it 28:16. Towson built a 14-10 halftime lead as Devin Matthews had a 23-yard scoring run and John Dunmore had a 3-yard TD catch.
