In a shocking turn of events, Knowing Bros. comedian Lee Jin Ho admitted to his gambling addiction. In addition to the unexpected news, it was also revealed that he had cheated on some celebrities and BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that BTS's Jimin was one of his victims. The agency revealed that the K-pop idol had lent him a huge sum of money using just a promissory note.

According to Korean media, Jimin Lee loaned Jin Ho an estimated 100 million KRW in 2022 and never got it back. BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the shocking news, saying: “Jimin has indeed suffered financial damage. He just wrote a promissory note and lent it to Lee Jin Ho.”

Since then, Korean netizens have expressed their outrage with comments such as: “Scammers don't discriminate against celebrities… Jimin is a victim of the scam” and “What is this?” He hasn't paid him back despite issuing a promissory note.”

For those inexperienced, Lee Jin Ho sent shockwaves through the K-content world with an unexpected post. The comedian took to his social media handles and announced that the police would investigate him for illegal online gambling. Admitting his addiction, he wrote: “I randomly started gambling on illegal online gambling sites in 2020 and ended up in debt that I couldn't afford.”

He further added that after constantly receiving “stinging” advice from those close to him, he has recently realized how addiction has affected him. He revealed that he has received financial help from many people, which he is constantly trying to repay. “I will continue to repay all these debts with my own strength until I die,” wrote Lee Jin Ho.

He continued to spread the terror he lived in due to his illegal gambling addiction. The comedian stated that every time he received a call from an unknown number, his heart would race. “I felt like I was haunted every day by the fear of when the world would find out.”

In his lengthy confession on social media, Lee Jin Ho apologized to everyone he couldn't repay. His agency SM C&C has yet to release a statement while Knowing Bros has begun looking into the matter to decide his future with the show.
