The 2024-25 NBA season is expected to start on a high note as some of the sport's biggest stars take center stage on Tuesday night.

Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Anthony Edwards will take the spotlight for their respective teams in Tuesday night's doubleheader.

All six can imagine themselves being supernovae in the NBA galaxy. And yet, it can be argued that one rookie second-rounder has turned more heads than any other entering the season.

Bronny James is expected to make his regular-season debut on Tuesday alongside father LeBron. The 20-year-old Bronny enters the contest — a matchup with Edwards, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert and Minnesota — on a high after posting 17 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block in 35 minutes in his final preseason appearance in October has . 18.

Bronny is not expected to suffer major burns. He is currently widely considered a fringe player in the NBA. But any opportunity he gets will be notable given the name on the back of his jersey.

8:45 p.m.: It looks like Bronny will get a chance to make a name for himself tonight. According to KCAL 9's Darren Haynes, James will make his on-court debut against the Timberwolves. ESPN's Brian Windhorst previously reported that James could get some burn early in the second quarter. We'll see if his prediction comes true.
