It looks like these Celtics didn't miss a beat this offseason. At 4-0 and a net rating of +14.9, they are tied atop the Eastern Conference with the Cavaliers, who are also 4-0. Only one team managed to avoid a double-digit loss in those four games against Boston, and interestingly enough, it was the struggling Pistons. Playing Indy will be a much more difficult task, but the Cs have done pretty well in this matchup in recent seasons. They are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and have been an average of more than 11 points better than Indiana during that time.

I don't think many people would say that Tyrese Haliburton isn't the team leader in assists per game after four games for Indiana, but here we are. Haliburton's struggles are surprising considering the heights he reached last season. The good news is that it's still early in the season and there's still plenty of time to turn things around. When Haliburton plays poorly, it affects the entire team. Indy is just 22nd in pace after leading the league last season. They also rank 23rd in offense, 22nd in defense and, most importantly, 26th in three-point percentage. We all know that in today's NBA you can't win games without a consistent long-range shot.

Indiana's problems on offense will eventually come to an end, we were able to get some insight from the loss to Orlando where they knocked down 13 three-pointers. Boston has also been on top of its game offensively this season; they have yet to finish a game with fewer than 17 three-pointers. The Over has won money in 5 of 6 matchups, with last season's 5 regular season games averaging 245.8 points per game. I'm going for points here.
