Avelo has officially designated Lakeland Linder as one of its six operating bases and has permanently housed one of its aircraft at the airport. It will also launch four of its seven new routes to Lakeland this week.

“Lakeland is the perfect complement to our MCO business and provides further choice among the other Florida airports we serve,” Andrew Levy, founder and CEO of Avelo Airlines, said in a press release. “It has all the features we are looking for to enable affordable travel between destinations.”

Which new routes are starting now?

The new passenger routes launching this week are:

• Charlotte, North Carolina's Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (code USA) starting Oct. 24 with tickets starting at $52 each way.
• Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire (code MHT) starting October 25 with tickets valued at $62 each way.
• New York's Greater Rochester International Airport (code ROC) starting Oct. 25 with tickets priced at $62 each way.
• San Juan, Puerto Rico's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (code SJU) starting Oct. 26 with tickets priced at $89 each way.
